Our first tip is to rub your tongue against the back of your front teeth. Do you feel a fuzzy texture? If so, this could be an indicator that you are not maneuvering your toothbrush well behind your front teeth. Tartar can easily build up here if you are consistently missing these places.
Our second tip is to assess your breath. If you do not regularly clean your tongue, bacteria and food particles can get trapped in the grooves of your tongue and start to stink. Brush your tongue with gentle pressure to remove bacteria and food.
